Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA)

No matter which university you choose to go to, you may be entitled to Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) - a non-repayable government grant designed to help cover any study costs you may have as a direct result of a disability. View our need-to-know guide below on how DSA can help:

Please get in touch

Disclosing a need for support through Student Disability and Inclusion will not affect your application to study at the University of Southampton.

Please let us know as soon as you can about your support needs, so we can work closely with other services in the University to make sure the support you require is in place as early as possible. When you enrol, you agree to share information with relevant University departments. If you would prefer information not to be shared, please contact us to discuss this.
