About
Rebecca Collins is a lecturer in Environmental Science and teaches undergraduate and postgraduate Geography and Environmental Science modules. Her research explores the relationships between people and the environment, examining how environmental conditions influence health, wellbeing, and behaviour, and how choices and lifestyles, in turn, shape environmental outcomes. She is particularly interested in how these interactions between people and the environment play out in urban settings, and how they can support more sustainable, equitable, and resilient cities. Her work aims to generate insights that support better decision-making, policy, and practice, enabling benefits for both people and the environment.
