Chris Andrews is a Senior Teaching Fellow based in the Education School at the University of Southampton.
His principle role is co-leading the PGCE Secondary Science Programme. He also leads on Intensive Training and Practice (ITaP) for the PGCE programme.
In addition to delivering the PGCE Secondary Science Programme, Chris teaches on several undergraduate and postgraduate modules, including 'Education: Past, Present and Future' and the Primary PGCE course.
Chris joined the Southampton Education School in 2026, following an 18-year career in Secondary School education which included teaching in a range of different secondary schools as a Science Teacher and a Head of Year. Chris' latest post prior to joining the Univeristy was as an Assistant Headteacher at a local comprehensive Secondary School.
