Overview
The Foundation for the Future of Colombia (COLFUTURO) contributes to the development of Columbia by generating opportunities for postgraduate training of Colombian professionals of academic excellence in the best programs in the world.
COLFUTURO provides affordable loans to help Colombian students pay for their postgraduate studies.
If you receive a COLFUTURO scholarship, you will receive a 15% tuition fee discount for an eligible postgraduate programme at the University of Southampton.
This award is available for full-time, 1-year postgraduate taught master's programmes and for the first 3 years (36 months) of a full-time postgraduate research degree.

Eligibility
To get this scholarship you must:
- be an international student from Columbia required to pay the oversees fees
- have an offer to study an eligible postgraduate taught programme or PhD study
- receive a COLFUTURO loan
Permanent residency
Permanent residency
We consider your permanent residency to be where you have lived for 3 or more years before the start of the course.
This does not include where you have been living solely for study purposes if it is different from your permanent place of residency.
