Overview
75th Anniversary Undergraduate Excellence Scholarships are available to new international students from eligible countries applying for an eligible on-campus undergraduate programme.
Successful applicants will get up to £9,000 towards their tuition fees.
These scholarships mark 75 years since the University of Southampton was granted its Royal Charter. They celebrate our history and offer a warm welcome to international students.

Eligibility
To get this scholarship you must:
- be a permanent resident of Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong SAR, India, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Taiwan, Thailand, UAE, USA or Vietnam
- be a self-funded student paying the oversees tuition fees
- have a conditional or unconditional offer to study any full-time, on-campus undergraduate programme (except Medicine)
Permanent residency
Permanent residency
We consider your permanent residency to be where you have lived for 3 or more years before the start of the course.
This does not include where you have been living solely for study purposes if it is different from your permanent place of residency.

How we award
Successful applicants for eligible undergraduate programmes (excluding Medicine) will receive a total tuition fee reduction of £9,000, awarded as £3,000 per year for up to 3 years of study.
