Final Project: Critical Paper
On this module you will put into practice the research and analytical skills that you have learned on the programme. Focusing on a contemporary advertising and branding issue, you will investigate this issue thoroughly, to prepare a critical paper, reviewing existing literature from published sources; collating, critically analysing and commenting on current debates, ideas and viewpoints of others.
Synthesising, analysing and discussing the literature, you will formulate your own original insights and conclusions to propose solutions and/or hypotheses that either promote a clearer understanding of the key issues, add to the debate, or generate material to be examined or tested as part of further research.
As part of your analysis, you will examine any inclusive, ethical and sustainability responsibilities, practices or opportunities associated with the issue that you have chosen to research.
You will be allocated a tutor as your personal supervisor for this project who will provide you with support and guidance for the duration of the supervision period. -

Final Project (Design Innovation and Technology)
The Final Project (Design Innovation and Technology) is the capstone module of the programme, offering you the opportunity to conceptualise, develop, and deliver a significant, original project that integrates research, design, and technological innovation. This self-initiated investigation should demonstrate the depth of your critical understanding, technical proficiency, and creative thinking, built over the course of the programme. Framed around a well-defined research question or technological challenge, your project should engage meaningfully with contemporary debates in design, innovation, and responsible practice. You will be supported by an academic supervisor and are encouraged to connect with relevant research communities, industry partners, or real-world contexts to enhance the depth, relevance, and professional impact of your work. -
