Principles of Physiotherapy Practice 2
This module develops and extends the assessment and management skills introduced in Part 1 of this module, preparing you for increasingly complex case scenarios. You will build on your knowledge of clinical reasoning to further refine your ability to assess and manage patients with multi-factorial musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiorespiratory presentations. Emphasis will be placed on integrating subjective and objective findings to inform evidence-based management plans and you will be introduced to more advanced rehabilitation techniques, whilst continuing to incorporate advice, education, exercise and activity participation. The module will also explore the role of physiotherapy in long-term condition management, multidisciplinary care and health promotion, encouraging you to apply biopsychosocial and cultural principles consistently in practice. -
