Currently, I teach Public Law, Legal Philosophy, and Criminal Law.
Currently, Marc is Director of Undergraduate Law Programmes with responsibility for academic leadership, quality assurance and programme governance across the undergraduate portfolio. He is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and has previously been an internal reviewer and teaching mentor for Fellowship and Senior Fellowship applications to Advance HE. He also serves as an External Examiner at two other universities. Before moving into academia, he worked in senior roles in human resources and corporate governance.
His research sits at the intersection of legal philosophy, public law and legal education, with particular attention to sovereignty and the rule of law, and to reflective practice in teaching and assessment. Alongside academic writing, he undertakes knowledge exchange work and has delivered specialist training for clinical practitioners within NHS University Health Boards in Wales.
