Charlotte is a part-time Lecturer in Psychology at University of Southampton. She also holds two part-time Research Fellow roles, working on projects in Health Psychology with Prof. Tamar Pincus, and Experimental Psychopathology with Prof. Matt Garner and Prof. Emily Holmes.
She completed a BSc in Psychology at University of Southampton in 2014. Following this, she held various teaching assistant roles working primarily with SEN children with reading difficulties. In 2018 she completed a Masters in Cognitive Psychology/Neuropsychology at University of Kent, before returning to Southampton to complete a PhD in Psychology at UoS.
Charlotte's PhD investigated individual differences in skilled readers' eye movements. During her PhD, Charlotte held Postgraduate Teaching Assistant and Exam Invigilator roles. Charlotte also worked as a Senior Research Assistant on a variety of projects in Psychology, and completed an internship with the Behavioural Insight Team at Hampshire County Council at this time.
Since then, Charlotte has been asked to consult for HCC an ad-hoc basis to design and develop population targeting and staff training tools for HCC, incorporating UX principles, applied statistics, and research-led design.
